This image was taken in 2002 near Nigita Japan , exactly where I can’t recall but the location isn’t important and I like the fact I’d probably never be able to find it again. I was struck by the semi monochromatic nature of the scene, shot in the rain with 15 second exposure it still intrigues me to this day , utterly banal or utterly surreal depending on how you look at it ...part traditional Japanese landscape .part Escher .part Municipal web site.
Shot on 5/4 Colour Negative this image gets better the larger its seen and so have versions up to AO
