This series is probably the most traditional/ formal I’ve ever taken and shot at a Ryokan in Japan , (traditional Inn hotel ) I was struck by the traditional nature of the scene and responded visual in an equally formal way , black and white large format 5/4 film seemed respectful , I have no recollection of exact location but with many image takes around this time like the fact that I probably won’t be able to find them again
